2011 -2012 Season Schedule
The Glenn Miller Orchestra - the most popular and sought after big band in the world today for both concert and swing dance engagements.
With its unique jazz sound, the Glenn Miller Orchestra is considered to be one of the greatest bands of all time. The present Glenn Miller Orchestra was formed in 1956 and has been touring consistently since, playing an average of 300 live dates a year all around the world.
As of January 2011, trombonist Gary Tole is the orchestra's musical director.
Randy Velez - often called Randy the Rich Little of music, Velez has the incredible gift of replicating the vocals of many artists spanning genres and generations of music.
Randy may begin a performance as Louie Armstrong, Willie Nelson, or Johnny Cash, and five minutes later become the voice of Dean Martin, Sinatra, Freddie Fender, Roy Orbison or Elvis, and then cover Jay & the Americans “Cara Mia.” Then he smoothly moves through decades of top 40 music.
The possibilities are nearly limitless, as the artists and songs he covers composes a long list and even includes a full selection of Latin music!
John Tesh: "Big BandLive" - John Tesh and his Big Band Orchestra are “swinging” into town so you can “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”! On stage with 14 performers, John will play favorite holiday tunes in the big band style, will treat you to piano solos, and will charm you with his engaging rapport with the audience. Designed to delight all ages, this show is sure to entertain young and old alike. With three gold albums, two Grammy nominations, and the nationally-syndicated "John Tesh Radio Show", John Tesh is known worldwide as a leading and respected figure in the entertainment industry. THIS SHOW WILL BE AT 3 P.M.
Lynn Trefzger - is a ventriloquist/comedienne with a trunk full of zany characters that have accompanied her to stages throughout the country.
Her vocal illusion talents were first brought to national audiences on TV's popular, Star Search and she has since performed with artists including Jeff Foxworthy, Ray Romano, The Smothers Brothers, and Drew Carey. Her off-the-wall audience interplay is riotously funny, and her performances are tailored for both family and adult audiences.
Frac D'Ambrosio Broadway - a celebration of the music that has established Broadway as an American art form.
Affectionately known as Phantom's "The Iron Man of The Mask", Franc D'Ambrosio was awarded the distinction as the "Worlds Longest Running Phantom". This accomplishment was immortalized in a cemented hand ceremony and Franc retained this title for over a decade.
TICKET INFORMATION Tickets to Community Concerts are sold as season memberships. We offer several membership levels to choose from. (click here for details) There will be a limited number of individual tickets sold , per show, to non-members.
Once you've purchased your season membership, if there is a concert you are unable to attend, please contact us ASAP at 419-562-3244 or 419-562-8932, so we know your ticket will be available for a non-member use.
Effective for the 2011-2012 season, all ticket holders will have reserved seats. |
